Our friendly, expert team comprises support staff, designers, engineers and project managers; all skilled in creating performance catering systems to budget.

Anna McNamara, Managing Director

Anna set up Catering Equipment Solutions in 2002 after five years in her family’s second-hand catering equipment business. She felt that caterers were increasingly interested in good value new catering equipment, with a professional service and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Having worked in front and back of house management for many years, Anna and her team understand the issues that professional caterers face, and the solutions they need to meet those challenges and remain competitive.

Anna devotes considerable time and energy to seeking out modern, innovative equipment that will benefit both new and existing customers, now and for years to come.

Ken Ford, Senior Project Manager

Ken joined CES in July 2007, having worked in the industry for over 32 years. He brings a wealth of project management and technical skills to the business. Having served an apprenticeship in M&E Civil Engineering, he moved into the commercial catering industry as an installation engineer. He has since worked in service, and held roles as a technical manager, service manager, and business development manager. Having learnt his trade with companies like Service Line, Enodis and Sodexho FM he is a valuable asset to CES, with considerable experience in working with and managing the large contracts we frequently win.

Alexa Smith, Account /Project Manager

Alexa joined after several years as a new business-only sales executive for a local authority-based commercial catering distributor. Proactive, adaptable and conscientious, she overcomes challenges through tenacity and attention to detail. Drawing on solid career foundations in hospitality and retail management, Alexa works consistently to the highest professional standards. She not only delivers results but also gives clients a tangible after care service that yields multiple business benefits.

Charlene Caress, Service, Sales and Marketing Executive

Charlene is the latest addition to the team, having started in September 2008. She ensures that our communications and customer services retain their high standards, as well as supporting the company with sales and marketing. By arranging customer calls and following up to ensure customer satisfaction, Charlene ensures that customers enjoy swift responses to all their catering equipment and design questions.

Julie Carter, Office Manager

Julie joined CES in May 2008, in which time she has quickly established a thorough knowledge of our products and become a strong member of the team. With a background in catering, she understands the importance of good quality, reliable equipment, and brings with her many years’ experience in customer service and office management. She makes it her target to ensure that the customer enjoys the best service possible at all times.

Sam Parnell, Administrator

The backbone of Catering Equipment Solutions since November 2006, Sam has worked in many different industries ranging from haulage to social care. So with a wealth of experience, she is dedicated to giving customers 100% attention, at all times. Honest and conscientious, Sam treats clients as she would like to be treated, were she a customer. With a fun, friendly personality and flexible attitude, she plays a vital role in the CES team, helping us to meet all of our client’s catering requirements.
